somewhere in the dreaming

of the day

in the fleeting sense

of presence

drifting deep into the feelings

that tingle and like treasure

as they linger

in the evernow

in essences of being

as i step along the way

like the taste of sweet tahini

from seedling of sesaami

the colours of rock crystals

translucent hues of jade

as turquoise sunlit water

in the pool

and gardenglade

the sparkling faerie dwelling

the elemental glow

and the sheen the living lustre

in the places where they go  

and so alive completely

it seems a time is come

a morning lit with wonder

when everything is done

and so gracious a companion

has softly touched my hand

she walks before me lightly

by the petals

crimson sepals

a farewell to these dimensions

travels become new

and i wander

wild and freely

the heath and grassy dew

in clear and calm encounters

how the real has fairer forms

sometimes pretty baubles

sometimes secret charms

in wild imagination

in drifting music heard

like sapphire gems and rubies

floating gold of spoken word 

on a raft across the river

to a bank of breathing moss

never seen and never trod

but by the faerie velvetshod  

to where the dryad spirit

fills the air in wooded land 

where forest fruits have ripened

living gifts that hang

from autumn apple trees

in the prana of the seasons

by stream and stepping stone

paths that vanish

reappear

where flowers peep through melting snow

there i gaze and wander slowly

to the heart of avalon

where the wonderful adventure

goes on and on and on
